Letter to Brigham Young, 2 June 1877
To President Brigham Young, Salt Lake City. Dear Brother, Enclosed please find Exhibit of Ordinance-work done in St George Temple during the Month of May. We worked during the month 5 days in Baptizing averaging 721 per day; and we gave Endowments 14 days averaging 129 En- dowments per day. We are thankful that a deeply earnest, devout, spirit characterizes the administrations of the brethren and sisters who assist in the Temple and the same spirit evidently rests upon those who are administered to. Part of the month, as you have already learned, my health has been poor, such indeed as to keep me away from the Temple on some of the working days. I thank the Lord my health is much improved now, though some of the saints say I look very thin and pale yet.
Letter to Moses Franklin Farnsworth, 2 June 1877
St George U. T. . Bro. F^rank^ Farnsworth, Kanab. Dear Brother, We desire you to come and assist in Recording in the Temple, just as soon as you can make it convenient. Terms: Put your trust in God, work without wages, and we will do the best we can for you and your family. W Woodruff
