Discourse 1877-07-01
PM Woodroof and Macallister made some ve[r]y good remarks on the subgects of death Baptism for the dead the importance of keeping true and faithfull records agreable to the Pattern laid down by the Prophet JSmith in the Book of Doctrine and covenants, also of availing ourselves of the opportunity now before us in going forth and administering for our dead, and ceasing the damnable practice of defaming each others character. Br Woodroof had some Letters read pertaining to the death of his son Brigham who was drowned lately, a very promising young man.
