President Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake City Utah Dear Brother: Enclosed you will please find the report of this Mission for the last six months ending 29th of Feby. I trust it will reach you in time to be of service and that it will prove satisfactory to you. Since making our last report to you there has been three new conferences organized and an increase in our force of Elders of 24 There has been a number of new fields opened with very gratifying results. The spirit of persecution which has been so rife in the past, has moderated to a considerable extent, and the people generally are looking with much more kindly feelings upon the Elders and the principles they advocate. Our emigration is gradually increasing
