Letter from Alfred Budge, 17 March 1888
Paris Idaho . Pres Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake City Dear Bro. In reply to the request made of me to labor as a missionary in the Swiss and German mission, would say I feel my weakness in undertaking such a responsibility, but I am ready, and willing to preform this or any other call that may be made upon me by the Priesthood of God, and that I will endeavor to use the talent I may posess for the promulgation of the Gospel, or in assisting to advance the Kingdom of God in any way.
