Dear Brother Joseph F.:
Your esteemed favor of the 17th
inst. has been received and perused with much interest.
You have been very careful to give us full details of
affairs with you, which have been very satisfactory, as
from your letters we have gained an excellent idea of
the situation. Your position has not been an en-
viable one, still we think you have got along excellently.
The information which you communicated
to us enables us to understand the position assumed
by Brother John W. Young and will enable us to talk
with him more intelligently than we could do if we had
