Pres Wilford Woodruff Dear Br as the time for our Conference draws near I though[t] I would mak the enquiry if we may expect any of the Bretheren from Salt Lake City. Our Conference is Apointed for May the 19th & 20th and those who come up will hav to lea ve Salt Lak one [on] the after noon of Thur sday the 17th and will get to Market ^(Lake)^ Friday morning at 9 Oclock and we will hav a team meete them their or if they wish to come any sooner we will send a team any any time we would be pleased to hav some of the Bretheren attend our conference and think it would do great good. The matter of a high School for this stak is some thing that we very mutch need and will be pleased hav any sugestions you may hav to make on the

Salt Lake U. T. Miss Lucy F. Woodruff My Deer Grand Daughter I received your interesting Letter of April 27, but the croud of business has prevented me from answering before. I was sorry to Learn that you was suffering so with your Mouth I hope you may get it healed up I have sent Grand Pa Smith one of my Likenesses I have asked Brother Jaques to Let you have one that is framed at the H. O. if He does not take it to you, you can get it by sending for it I have No time to write a Long Letter to day I want you to read Grand Pas letter
