5 A hand pointing to the right A folded letter/box I signed 27 Recommends, I received 22 Letters. I
wrote 9 Letters 7 Public & 2 to Jaques & Romney I attended
the Theater in the Evening And saw the old Homestead
Played it took me back to old Connecticut 75 years
ago it was a vary Laughable play G. Q. C. was with me

Yankton, D. T. To the President of Salt Lake City, Honored sir— I am a young lady of eighteen years. I live near Yankton, Dakota. My parents are members of the Methodist church, and are very strict with me. They are greatly opposed to mormonism. But I believe in it, and think it a beautiful doctrine. I have several times had the privilege of listening to its glorious prom- ises, without the knowledge of my parents, and the one paramount desire of my heart is, to join the Mormons in their own beautiful city. Rexburg, Bingham Co., Idaho, President Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake City, Utah Dear Brother In consideration of the measures adopted by your Counsel in remunera- ting Stake Presidents and Counsellors and as one of my Counselors Bro. Wm F. Rigby has just returned from the Utah Pen and as thes bulk of his Family is situated in Cache Valley I would therefore ask you in the next or- der you send to make it payable on the Logan Tithing Office as his Family in Cache is in need of Breadstuff, if this is consistent with your wViews please let me know by return.
