Letter from R. W. Rasmussen, 10 August 1888
Richfield Levier County, Utah, . Pres W. Woodruff, Dear Bro. Mr. W. H. Clark, the assessor and collector port is currently is Concilor ^^to^^ the president of the state. He has been, (according to his own word) appropriating some old tick government money for private purposes. For over three month I have urged and beged him for to settle with the schools, but he has taken very little notice of its. The consquence will be that I shall turn it over into the hands of the Accounts to collect as provided by land. The results, I can hardly foresee today. He owes the School about $4000.
