Pres't Wilford Woodruff,
Dear Brother:
I trust you will excuse
the delay in letting you know
the number of Elders we shall
want in this mission next spring.
I have been waiting to hear
from the presidents of the differ-
ent conferences whom I had writ-
ten some time ago. Now that
all except one have reported I will
make an estimate of the num-
ber he will want.
In some instances I have cut
down the number considerable
in accordance with your instruc-
tions.
