To The First Presidency of the Church. Dear Brethren: Reference has been made in a former letter to you from us relative to the unusual damage sustained by St George Stake from the floods of the past winter in the Rio Virgin and Santa Clara. At our regular meeting of the High Council last Saturday, 8th reports were made ^by some of the councelers^ of the crippled condition of some of our people from this cause and after discussion it was decided to call a meeting of Delegates from the most seriously injured settlements to learn more definitely what damage had been done, and to learn in general terms the feelings and the circumstances of the land owners affected by the floods.
