Gentlemen:
I have your favor of the 6th inst advising me that you have
sent me 10 sacks of potatoes. They have not yet arrived, but I doubt
not that they will be very fine indeed, as Utah has a reputation of
raising potatoes equal to any in the world.
I thank you very much for your kindness, and trust I shall
soon have an opportunity of seeing you in good health.
