Provo City, Utah, . (DICTATED) President Wilfrord Woodruff, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dear Brother: By the articles of incorporation under which the Academy now exists, the Presidency of the Church and the members of the Church are made stockholders of this institution, and the election of officers is to take place on the 6th day of April every three years, commencing with next April. Permit me to suggest that the Alumni Association, or the association of graduate students, is a very important organi- zation to any school and can be made a powedr for good among us in connection with the Academy, and I respectfully suggest for your consideration that this association be permitted by you to nominate at each election one member of the Board, acceptable to you. This would please the members of the association, and would give the organization an importance which perhaps it does not now hold. Permit me to suggest further, that the Academy to-day is very much in need of more room. Our enrollment is now over 900.
