First Presidency Presidents Wilford Woodruff, George Q. Cannon and Joseph F. Smith. Dear Brethren: I am in receipt of letter of the 20th inst. from Secretary George Reynolds containing Bro. For 15 months I have been laying on my bed, without any use of my lower limbs, and have to be lifted on and off the same whenever I sit up in a chair for a short time. There is a jog in my backbone of nearly half an inch where the dislocation was and some think it was not properly set, and that it may be the cause of the nerves not working properly in my legs. The lower break caused a sore about eight inches long by seven inches wide which has not yet healed up, and some
