& T. E. Ricks we told the people not to Hunt fish or work
on Sunday but go to Meeting. W Woodruff ordiained Sidney Weeks a High Priest & Bishop to presid over
the Lyman ward I also ordained [Charles Foster|Charles Foster]]
a High Priest and administered to his wife who was sick Lyman is located on the North Bank of the south fork
of the Snake River on the North side of a heavy body
of Cottonwood timber & poles 15 Miles long & 2 wide
with thick under brush fwhich formes a shelter in winter
for large heards of Deer & Elk we returned to Rexburg. distance of the day 20 Miles
7 I got up in the Morning quite Poorly. I eat a bowl
of gruel and felt Better I kept [to] my bed most of the

Woodruff & to Susan C Scholes & sent her $5.
