February 14, 1846 ~ Saturday

14th It is exceding cold we have A fair
wind run 10 nots an hour the wind again
arose to a gale in the night And we had a
dredful rough night we rocked and
pitched so bad it made us sick we
could not sleep & hardly keep in bed
