March 27, 1849 ~ Tuesday

^ A hand pointing to the right^ 27th A folded letter/box I done up A bundle of papers for Dr Richards And some Articles
for Father Woodruff, Sisters Smoot, Edwards A. Harris & M. J. where
things sent by Mrs Woodruff. I recieved A letter from Mrs Sayers &
wrote one to Leonard Hardy to inform him of the death of A Sister
Courier at Bradford & wished him to come & preach her sermon. we
had most A tedious stoms of rain & wind through the day & night
many lives will be lost in the storm
