Pres't Brigham Young,
Dear Brother,
I have had
a desire for the last week, to write
you a letter, but my state of health
has not permitted it. The cold
which I have had upon my
lungs for the past two months
I had become almost entirely
clear of when on monday the
7th I took a very heavy cold,
which fastened deeply upon
my lungs, accompanied with
chills especially in the afternoon,
but I continued in the Temple
untill Friday 11th, but was not
able to administer but very
little in any of the ordinances.
