May 15 1877 My dear Brother & Sister It is a long time since I have heard from you I recd. a Paper not long since containing notice of the death of Olive. I hope she is better off than where in this sin stricken world. A few years more, if time continues will make many changes with us. Many of us are getting along to and living on borrowed time. The signes of the times are impressive. Mens hearts failing them. May our trust be in God Business, The world and everything earthly is demoralised, "How long, Oh Lord, how long"
