President Wilford Woodruff as President of
St. George Temple presented his Report of
Ordiance work done there for the three
months ending, 30th June: Baptisms, 9,511;
Endowments, 4,436; Ordinations, 1,675; Seal-
ings 1,524; Adoptions and Sealings of Children
to Parents, 171. He bore testimony to the
onward course of the purposes of the Almighty,
and exhorted the people to increased faith-
fulness in spiritual and in temporal affairs.
Spoke of the neccessity which existed for
having a reliable pump for Temple use,
and suggested that a subscription list
be started to obtain the needed means
to purchase one.
