Asked the question whether it is pro-
per to say what the Spirit dictates, or
what would please the children of
men. His own feelings were that it
is the kingdom of God or nothing, and
he desired nothing outside of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, for no kingdoms, thrones, prin-
cipalities, salvation or exaltation can
be received outside the kingdom of
God. Man may own some of these
possessions for a few days, but at a
given time they are all buried in one
