Normal Training course at the B. Y. Academy Provo, and reccommend him as a worthy young man for the position. He is now attending the course and we would have sent his name to you sooner but Bro L. E. Eggerton, Supt of Utah Stake Sunday Schools, informed us it would not be necessary, as we did not call him until time for the course to start, but Bro. Higham informs us it is necessary for him to receive a call from you, and we submit his name for that purpose. Your Brethren in the Gospel, Bp. John E. Huish Payson First Ward W. L. Worsencroft Supt. Letter from Thomas R. Cutler, 9 February 1894

Lehi, Utah, . Pres't. Wilford Woodruff, Box B., S. L. City Dear Brother: Bro. Edward Southwick has explained to me his circum- stances; it appears that he has been going to the B. Y. Academy for some time, and has expended every dollar he could get hold of in trying to educate himself. I told him to have faith and the means would be forth-coming, and suggested to him that his young associates would no doubt help him out; in any event if the means could ^not^ be raised for him he could go next fall, and I believe would accomplish a good mission. Very truly yours, Thomas R. Cutler Bp.
