April 11, 1895 ~ Thursday

11 I met with the Twelve in the Temple and discussed
several questions one was to take an interest in
Land & water matters in Arazonia Utah and
Nevada with a Man by the name of Wells Hendershott
we decided not to Engage in it At 3 oclok we
went Down to Brother Gallagers & Eat 2 dozen
fresh Raw Oysters as a Donation to us
we then returned to the Office And I signed
my name on a Document 225 times in one H[our]
I Attended a party at John MCDonalds until
11 oclock. our {enemies are determined to make him [detain] us to destroy state government}
