February 08, 1897 ~ Monday

8 I spent the day in the Office we held Meetings with
Rail Road Company & Telegraph Company Brother & Sister
Neagley called upon us at our home I took them with
my family to the Theater to listen to Another Lecture of Mrs
Lydia Mumford on Jerrusalem Her lectures are the
Most interesting of Any I Attended on the Holy Land
and upon all that was spoken by the savior

Panguitch, Utah, Prest. Wilford Woodruff, Salt Lake City Dear Bro. Some weeks since we send you the names of some Elders for Missionaries. Among them was Elder Rosmus Lynn Jr: Bro. Lynn was here yesterday & said he had not received his notice, & seemed to feal as though his name had been rejected, & that he was not wanted, or that he was not worthy to go. I asured him that, that was not the case, & that his notice would be fourth coming, and that it might have been sent, & lost in the mail. his adress is Asay P.O. Garfield Co. Also my son Jos B. Crosby who received a a call sent August or Sept. But did not answer till some time in January. I would like to know if he is wanted, & when to we can arange for his going. With Kind regards You Bro. Logan ^Pres.^ Wilford Woodruff. P. O. Box B. Salt Lake City. Dear Brother; I received the call you sent me, and have gladly excepted it. I will be ready any time after the 10th of April 97. Please let me ^know^ what is the earliest time after this date, that mission- arys leave for that mission; as I would want to go then. And oblige, Your Brother in the Gospel. Alfred L. Cole Logan.
