9. I spent the fore noon opening Goods &
the afternoon I visited the Lakes with
Howard Young we got 4 ducks the Laman-
ites were shearing their sheep on the
shores of the Lakes 10 Miles

April 10, 1879 ~ Thursday

10 [FIGURE] I wrote to John Taylor & council
and to Angus Cannon & Directed the
outside to Br Cannon

April 11, 1879 ~ Friday

11. [FIGURE] It was a fearful windey day the
air full of fine sand. I wrote 9 Letters
to day to Jaques, Phebe, Bulah, Emma
Nelley, Asahel, Clara Owen & Blanch
and 2 to McAllister & Bleak total 11.

I directed my family Letters to Br

Young spoke on the word of Wisdom I bore
Testimony I met in the Evening & Read the
118 & 121 section of the D & C., & spoke
