Smith & others I rode to Brigham City
& across the bottom to look out a
city Location we then held a Meeting
with the people W W read the 19 chapter
of Alma or a part of it & spoke 30 M[inutes]
on the resurrection & Restoration followed
By Lot Smith & Lake we administered
to Br Bates I received a Letter from [FIGURE]John W Young I wrote one Letter to John [FIGURE] W Young

Oct 20. In company with Lot Smith & son Willard & Ira Hatch & Br Brookbank
we left Sunset to visit the Moque
villages we drove on the North east
side of the river some 10 Miles then
crossed to Comiazi camp a Navajoe
Chief stoped a short time with him
then drove down the river on the East
side over quite rough ground for 10 Miles
& camped for the night 20 M[iles].
~ Tuesday
21 We arose Harnessed our horses &
started without Breakfast & drove 10 Miles
mostly up hill over a big broaken

side of the River some 10 Miles then
crossed to Comiazi camp A Navajoe

& camped for the night 20 Miles.

started without Breakfast & drove 10 Miles
mostly up hill over a vy broaken
