October 22, 1865 ~ Sunday
Oct 22d 1865 Sunday Afternoon at the W Woodruff
spoke one hour & 15 Minutes. Elder reported the same
which is recorded in this Journal under date of [blank]
I met with & several of for prayer & attended
a meeting in the Evening at the 14th ward school house. I spoke to
the people 45 Minutes. spoke 35 Minutes the
rested upon us
October 23, 1865 ~ Monday
23 I went to my field with Brothers & King & rebuilt
my wheat stack which had been wet & spread to dry I gath-
ered in the Afternoon 17 bushels of spitzenbargh Apples
October 24, 1865 ~ Tuesday
24 I spent the fore part of the day in the we
gave endowments to 17 persons. W. Woodruff sealed 7 couple &
sealed 2 couple I spent the Afternoon writing &
at home gathering Apples
October 25, 1865 ~ Wednesday to October 28, 1865 ~ Saturday
25, 26, 27 & 28, I spend most of the time in gathering Apples from
my orchard & attending to stock brought in by the drive.
October 29, 1865 ~ Sunday
29, Sunday I met with my Quorum in the Morning & attended
Meeting in the several Missionaries spoke follow by
W Woodruff & & in the Afternoon spok
followed by G Q Cannon on the Emigration
October 30, 1865 ~ Monday to October 31, 1865 ~ Tuesday
30 & 31, I spent the time diging carrott.
November 1, 1865 ~ Wednesday to November 4, 1865 ~ Saturday
Nov 1, 2, 3, & 4 I spent most of the time diging carrotts & Beets.
November 5, 1865 ~ Sunday
5 Sunday [FIGURE] I received 3 Letters from Brother
at & at . I spent the
fore part of the day in the office writing
[FIGURE] I wrote a letter to Solomon Wixom & a few lines to
Wilford in letter & sent to him there has been a
great Military parade in spencers pasture during the last 4 days.
I Attended meeting in the in the Afternoon spoke in the Afternoon & Charles Taylor
& spoke in the forenoon. I attended the
in the Evening with the & . H C Kimball prayed
J. Taylor was mouth. I preached in the 17 ward in the Evening

6, 7, 8, 9 I spent the time in gathering in my corn
