Sept 28^th 1878
I took cars with Mrs Woodruff Rode to Brigham City
Mrs W stoped I continued on to Smithfield & spent
the night 100 Mils

September 29, 1878 ~ Sunday

29. Sunday I attended the sabbath school & Meeting in the
Afternoon. John D. T. McAllister spoke 63 Minuts
W Woodruff 30 M[inutes] Laid hands upon 2 sick person
we Met in the Evening W Woodruff spoke One hour
upon the operation of the various spirits upon the
children of Men the good and the bad and the
subject was vary interesting to us all

September 30, 1878 ~ Monday

30. J. D. T. McAllister J. G. Bleak & Thompson went
with me to Logan & McAllister to Smithfield
with me we took passage with S Roskelly to
Logan in the Rain we visited the Temple ground found
the walls to be about 25 feet high we also went through the
Tabernacle Dined with Bishop Preston we then took cars
& rode to Salt Lake 100 Miles

Christ of Latter Day Saints today G Q Cannon opened by
prayer O Hyde spoke 58 M[inutes] C C Rich 25. Afternoon
G Q Cannon spoke One Hour & 18 M[inutes]

I attended the council & Prayer Circle was quite unwell
