[Oct] 2nd I signed 31 Recommends I receivd 22 Letters
A hand pointing to the right I wrote 7 public Letters Newton went home
with me at night

Keys crossed A crown I met with the Twelve Apostles I nominated
3 Men to fill the Quorum of the Twelve which was
accepted viz M. W. Merrill A H Lund & A H Cannon
all the Quorum was present Except Thatcher and
Teasdale {I presented the subject to the} 12

Salt Lake City, Utah. 18 President Wilford Woodruff & Councilors It affords me pleasure to extend to you by unanimous vote of our Directors, the free use of the two Boxes which you have here- tofore occupied at the theatre and I sincerely hope you may find it expedient & proper to accept this small courtesy at our hands Yours very Truly Chas.
