$14000 Dollars Bought By Carter I signed ^20^ recom-
mends. I received 17 Letters I met with several
Parties to day Among the Number was Mr Layton

The Authorities of the Church presented & sustained
The articles of faith was read & Accepted by all of the people
Then W Woodruff manifesto was read and accepted
by a vote of the whole Conference which Act created
a sensation throughout the whole United States
